This toy seemed like a cool thing for my son and I to put together. However, it does not snap together into a ball as it says. The parts come apart when you try to "transform " it. Also the little guy in the little ball falls apart constantly. My son was totally disappointed with this and said it was junkie . I feel like I have high blood pressure from this toy.
Buy this toy if you want your child to hate it and you want to read 20 pages of instructions to put together a piece of junk.

This is a brand new series from Mega-Blocks that hopefully will continue to expand. These construction toys are very cool but just a little unique. My nine year old son has his own way of putting it: "It's what you'd get if a Transformer married a Bionicle, this would be their baby." and the things do look a whole lot like the Bioncle toys. My son has no problem in putting these things together. he's been slapping together Transformers and all kind of Lego kits since he was 4. He did have to really strain to get the arm and leg joints on. they give a definite sanp sound when they lock in. I'm not sure how easy it would be to get them apart. One note: There's a small robot that houses inside the chest of the bigger robot and he is very tiny. when my son went to put the small one together, the little nub part that fits the head to the body snapped right off. I tried to crazy Glue it back on but to no avail. I've written to Mega-Blocks via email and hope that they will send a replacemtn part. Besides that the completed toy seems pretty sturdy to me. It stands with no problem and you can transform it into a big sphere which my son proceeded to roll down the hall like a bowling ball.
There are currently four different ones to collect and my son is looking forward to getting the others. I reccommend this toy, but I'd also reccommend supervising those small parts. (Keep them away from small children.)

I just bought this toy for my 7 years old boy who really loves the toy. As a toy, it is really good, it's entertaining and look durable, even the price it's ok, but it's very hard to assemble, it was very hard even for me, my son just couldn't do it.

When Skywarp was first released as a toy back in the 80's I never was able to get him because he was always sold out!! Now, thanks to Toys R Us, I have him at last! I'm waiting for a rerelease of Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet to complete my Seekers corps! Skywarp was my second personal favorite of the Seekers. Even though he didn't appear that often or have a lot of lines, he seems to be the lovable goofball doofus, with a Jerry Lewis sort of personality. I wish that Hasbro would release a more posable action figure of Skywarp, as Takara did with Starscream and Optimus Prime. A great toy!

I was thrilled when I found out Hasbro was re-releasing the original G1 Transformers. The Skywarp I bought at ToysRus is almost exactly as I remember from when I was a kid. My only complaint is they changed the missles by making them quite a bit larger. They seem a bit awkward and out of place to this diehard G1 fan, but overal a perfect re-issue

Though the toy looks impressive when combined, the vehicles themselves don't transform. Talk about dissappointing, considering that both in the movie and in the original Devestator, the individual vehicles transformed.
You have to buy the transformable vehicles individually, but they of course cannot combine to form anything.

If they could put the best of both worlds together, easily a 5 star rating, but since they haven't, I can't imagine why anyone would give it a 5.

Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars

I had been hearing a lot of bad things about Devastator when pics of him first got out, about an insane price tag and no robot modes, but he was the one I was looking forward to the most. I figured that I would find him and see for myself how bad he looked and if I didn't like it I wouldn't buy it. So I was at Toys R Us the other day and found the last one on the shelf and Devastator didn't look that bad to me...only the price tag did haha. While he is not as big as I had expected (Rumors where he would be 2ft tall at least, but he's a little over 1ft), its still pretty impressive to look at. When you open the box all the constructicons are already transformed into the limbs but are not connected and also a few parts like Scavengers' scoop and Mixmasters' truck cab, but all are easily connected. As in the movie Devastator is very top heavy and must be places in a hunchback or an on all-fours pose. He has and push button activated Vortex similer to the movie and His head expands a good five inchs or so and you can fit legends and scout class figures in there. The box says that transformation for him is a 4 and really I think hes been the easiest to transform out of all the transformers from ROTF! Pretty much its a turn here and pop these in and move that back motions when turning the Constructicons into vehicle mode. One thing that I really didn't like is Mixmaster won't ever shut up and there is no on-off switch and when he is transformed into a vehicle the slightest bump sends him off. All of them look great in vehicle mode exept High Tower as he is brightly colored compared to the other two yellow Constructicons. Paint details are minor as in they have none compared to the voyager and deluxe class Constructicons but I figure I'll paint him myself. So in all he is a decent figure and his price isn't for everybody but if your a fan of the movie Devastator you'll like it.

Pros:
ITS DEVASTATOR!
Quick tranformation
Vortex gimmick is cool
In Robot mode he is good scale to legends class figures

Cons:
Price tag
Paint job could have been a lot better
Not very articulated
No wrecking balls
Mixmaster could have really used an on-off switch

I had been hearing a lot of bad things about Devastator when pics of him first got out, about an insane price tag and no robot modes, but he was the one I was looking forward to the most. I figured that I would find him and see for myself how bad he looked and if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t buy it. So I was at Toys R Us the other day and found the last one on the shelf and Devastator didn’t look that bad to me…only the price tag did haha. While he is not as big as I had expected (Rumors where he would be 2ft tall at least, but he’s a little over 1ft), its still pretty impressive to look at. When you open the box all the constructicons are already transformed into the limbs but are not connected and also a few parts like Scavengers’ scoop and Mixmasters’ truck cab, but all are easily connected. One thing that I really didn’t like is Mixmaster won’t ever shut up and there is no on-off switch and when he is transformed into a vehicle the slightest bump sends him off. All of them look great in vehicle mode exept High Tower as he is brightly colored compared to the other two yellow Constructicons. Paint details are minor as in they have none compared to the voyager and deluxe class Constructicons but I figure I’ll paint him myself. So in all he is a decent figure and his price isn’t for everybody but if your a fan of the movie Devastator you’ll like it.

Pros:
ITS DEVASTATOR!
Quick tranformation
Vortex gimmick is cool
In Robot mode he is good scale to legends class figures

Cons:
Price tag
Paint job could have been a lot better
Not very articulated
No wrecking balls
Mixmaster could have really used an on-off switch
